Director / Vice-President of OEM Software Sales
Well financed, consumer software start-up that is hitting the press/marketplace with a huge splash in early 2006, is looking to hire a dynamic Director/Vice President to head our American OEM sales team.
This position can be located anywhere within the United States and is an excellent opportunity to get in on the ground floor of an exciting company positioned to go into IPO status within one year.
The ideal candidate for this position has at least four years experience selling into the OEM software market, and a verifiable track-record selling consumer OEM products into the computer-manufacturing sector.
The right candidate will immediately become a "key" executive and will be responsible for building and managing our future cross-country sales team.
Primary (first five months) responsibilities include:
1. Working with marketing to build strategies for contacting potential opportunities
2. Work with CEO/Marketing to build launch sales plan
3. Book significant contracts for "back to school" market (Feb).
4. Increase "first time sales" by 25% month-over-month for first five months.
5. Provide exec team with accurate forecasting data in a 10/50/90 format on a weekly basis.
6. Co-ordinate sales efforts with inside sales, development and marketing departments.
Long-term responsibilities will include:
1. Hiring and managing a cross-country sales team
2. Work closely with the development team to provide creative options, feedback and specialization suggestions.
3.Take on full responsibility for OEM sales management within the company.
Remuneration
