| Troubleshooting: Important Installation Notice to our Users |
| |
To Remedy this Issue:
• Click on the Start button and then click on My Computer.
• Double-click on Local Disk (C:)
• Double-click on the Program Files folder, and then Double-click on Common Files.
• Double-click Installshield, then Double-click Professional, and finally Double-click RunTime.
• Locate the 0700 and/or 0701 folders (you may have both folders or just one of them). |
• Right-click on the Folder and select Rename
• Type in a new name for each folder, such as “0700_backup” and/or “0701_backup”, and then press Enter—This renames the folder(s)
• Re-insert “ONE” Disk 1 and run the setup again. |
| |
This means that when you double-click on certain types of files, they will automatically be opened within “ONE.”
For example, .xls files are ordinarily associated with Microsoft Excel®. Thus, whenever you double click on a .xls file, the file is opened by Microsoft Excel. However, if you install “ONE” without unchecking the box next to “Numerics,” then when you double click on a .xls file, this file will be opened by “Numerics.”
If you want to restore your file associations, run the “ONE” uninstallation program. |
You will be given several options: select “Restore document file associations.” Doing this will reset your computer’s file associations to what they were prior to the installation of “ONE.” |
